The 42-year-old lawyer has been working with bees for 17 years, and at present has 80 families. Apitherapy plays an outstanding role in his activities, as Péter largely became a beekeeper for curative and research reasons. The healing properties of honey products occupy him at least as much as honey production, meaning that much of his energy is directed at healing through the production of virtuous herbs as active substances. He is responsible for the health of bees in the region. As a practicing...

Once a coal miner, the fifty-nine-year old has kept 80 bee families for some 27 years. It is he that is responsible for bee health in the region. He has given many school talks, which he has enjoyed at least as much as his audience. He farms alongside his beekeeping, fattening pigs and tilling the land, and so his family farm takes up all of his time. The insulated 7x4 metre wooden building by his home is planned to be converted into a visitor centre and museum.
